GML Offshore Container
Offshore containers are specially designed shipping containers used for transporting equipment and materials to offshore structures, such as oil rigs and wind farms. They differ from “standard” shipping containers because they can be transferred from ship to ship or from ship to platform and are built to withstand impact forces on structures during transport.
Offshore containers are also known as “DNV containers” due to their certification standard.
